The Iomega Zip, also called a “zip disk”, is a removable media, similar to a floppy disk in both appearance and technology, but of much greater capacity. Produced by the Iomega company, in the initial version it allowed to store up to 100 Megabytes, capacity then increased to 250 Megabytes and 750 Megabytes in subsequent versions.
